A Blue Hand Views
A stamp of a blue hand on the body of one of Janiss’s attackers matched up with a lead in Mark ’s vision. It led Demetri and Al to a house where they found more bodies, one with an actual hand painted blue. Documents on one of the bodies referred to Rutherford, the as-yet-nonexistent case that Al saw in his flash forward.
So here's what we know, kind of. Simon and Lloyd -- if their vague talk can be trusted -- were involved in some kind of experiment that caused the flash forwards. There's a shadowy we Simon referred to which could be a group of scientists (scientists are never to be trusted in shows/movies like this) or maybe part of the blue hand squad.
The big clue dropped in this episode were the blue hands. Demetri spots one on the body of the dead Chinese mafia guy and follows the blue-hand brick road with Agent Gough, (Lee Thompson Young), whose name they never use, to a house with a massive blood stain, some dead bodies and the ID of a Rutherford, that leads Gough and Scotland Yard inspector Fiona Banks (Alex Kingston, who will be back in the next episode) to create the Rutherford case, which they're talking about in their flash forward.
This was my favorite episode of the season. I liked the blue-hand search, the disappearance of Dylan that caused the menage-a-trois confrontation, the appearance of Dominic Monaghan, Olivia and Mark finally having it out about how they feel about each other's flashes and the return to a more mysterious vibe.
