Systematically, one by one, the jurors discuss the facts evident in the trial and discover that each are suspect when under close scrutiny. Furthermore, through the dialogue we discover the personal (and subconscious) motivations behind each juror: classism, racism, laziness, or deep emotional scars hinder some of the most obstinate jurors from viewing the case objectively. By the play’s end, Juror # 8 is able to sway the rest of his peers and the boy is acquitted. Twelve Angry Men Art Pack Download the artwork and find your own printer. Original United Artists Six Sheet Poster (81x81) for the Sidney Lumet jury drama, 12 ANGRY MEN (1957)—starring Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb, Martin Balsam, and John Fiedler. A dissenting juror (Fonda) in a murder trial slowly manages to convince the other jurors that the case is complicated. In the ensuing mini-drama, we learn about each of the juror’s prejudices and preconceptions about the trial, the accused, and each other. This excellent drama was nominated for three Academy Awards—including Best Picture, Best Director for Lumet, and Best Adapted Screenplay for Reginald Rose. This original six sheet poster is in very good condition. This poster is a theater-used example and has considerable rumpling and minor fold distresses. It would be an excellent candidate for linen backing.
