Summary: It's amazing to me that people are spending $400 to $500 for a Pocket PC with all the same features...Why? After shopping around for a new Pocket PC I found the Dell Axim X30 and I couldn't be happier. For $296.95 I got all of the features I wanted including the fastest processor out there and wi-fi and blutooth. Dell has done a great service for Pocket PC enthusiasts. Great PDA for $100 or more cheaper than all other models.

The Axim 30 was a cutting-edge PDA device manufactured by Dell. Unfortunately, Dell discontinued production of its Axim line, and newer, more sophisticated Smartphones and PDA's have since been developed. One such device is the Samsung Omnia, run by Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, whereas the Axim 30 is run by Windows Mobile 2003. Although Windows Mobile 2003 is sufficient to operate the Axim 30, it is unable to interface with a number of modern Windows Mobile programs. Upgrading from the Axim 30 to the Samsung Omnia can be completed quickly and without loss of data.
