Bowser And Mario Views
Bowser's Inside Story is the latest in the series, and it has no problem living up to the high standards set by its predecessors. As the title indicates, Mario's longtime nemesis, Bowser, plays a large role in this adventure. Actually, if we want to be more accurate, Bowser plays a normal-sized role while Mario and Luigi play smaller roles. As the game begins, we see the triumphant return of Fawful, the hilarious and endlessly quotable villain from Superstar Saga, who is set on taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a Vacuum Mushroom, causing the Koopa King to uncontrollably inhale everything in sight. Unbeknownst to Bowser, he even swallows our plumbing heroes, leading to the game's unique twist. Control switches back and forth between Bowser as he attempts to reclaim his castle from Fawful and the shrunken Mario Bros. as they try to find a way out of their enemy's innards. Read More gra"
In a similar vein to the movie The Incredible Journey Nintendo's new Mario n Luigi RPG for DS sees our plumber heroes disappear inside Bowser's body. We're not going to think about how they actually enter Bowser. Instead, let's concentrate on the fact that the Mario o Luigi series has yet to disappoint. It's launching this fall in North America and Europe and we're looking to bring you the first media a little later on after the press conference has wrapped. Read More rra"
Bowser is the leader and most powerful of the Turtle-like Koopa race, and is the evil and greedy archnemesis of Mario and Luigi, beginning with his first appearance, in the game Super Mario Bros. His plans usually involve kidnapping Princess Peach and attempting to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. Since his debut, he has appeared in almost every Mario series game.
In the early 3D Mario games, Bowser is voiced by Isaac Marshall. Marshall's voice for Bowser consisted of various roars, grunts and growls. Marshall continued to provide his voice until Super Mario Sunshine in 2002, when he was replaced by Scott Burns. Burns was the first to provide spoken dialogue for Bowser. However, voice clips done by Marshall were used in some later games for Bowser's growl. Most recently, Bowser has been voiced by Kenneth James in games such as Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, and Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
