Fergie Perfume Outspoken Views
There’s nothing standing between Fergie’s Outspoken perfume and success. Entre nous – I was always curious to know how “celebrity” perfume was actually created. And I have this strong conviction it has to do with that particular celebrity’s real life fragrance. Meaning if Fergie’s current perfume is somewhere around Outspoken’s high/middle/low notes, than we’ve got ourselves a winner. If not, my curiosity remains unanswered. When I try perfume, I'm not usually reminded of Stride gum. But in the case of Fergie's new scent, Outspoken ($28), it's a pretty apropos comparison. No, the fragrance doesn't smell like gum, but it does hold on the same way Stride does, solidly smelling the same all day — and it has a similarly pleasant but artificial note profile.
Fergie is a singer, text writer and actress; capricious, feminine and mysterious woman. Fragrance Outspoken depicts her personality, sensuality and seductiveness and highlights complexness of every women that way. Top notes of the perfume refresh us with frozen black currant, starfruit and wild saffron, standing in contrast with gentle aromas of the heart. Floral nuances of tuberose, jasmine and passionflower dance together in a passionate and sensual way, while seducing base notes of ebony, leather and vetiver.
Inspiration for the flacon is connected with popular Fergie's wedding. She remembers to have seen a beautiful, luxurious, crystal vase which attracted her attention with its elegance. Result of the creation is connecting variety and contrasts. Diamond-shaped stopper crowns dark, glass curves of the flacon and achieves a more luxurious form. This precious and feminine flacon is available as 50 ml EDT, for about 28 EUR. Besides the fragrance Outspoken, the collection includes 150 ml perfumed body cream. The fragrance arrives on the market end May 2010.
