Gymsticks Views
I have been working with Gymsticks for the better part of this year, but only this weekend was able to avail myself of the opportunity to participate in a Gymstick Instructor Certification course. Tracy Cipryk is the Canadian Master Trainer for Gymstick International Oy and I attended a 6 hour workshop with her. It was 6 hours of muscle activation n– working up a sweat and creating muscle burn, and I am feeling the fall out of those hours today.
You are so right about contraptions and gimmicks Steve a— lots on the market, all to make money for the marketer, not to assist anyone with fitness training. Because I work out of a studio, rather than a gym, I am always seeking equipment which is versatile and effective. I also look for niche kinds of training equipment as I want to offer something different from the franchise box fitness stores around me. Kettlebells, Jazzercise and Gymsticks all meet my standards and exceed my expectations. I dons’t have time for ab rollers, thigh masters, glider discs, vibration plates or hula hoops, pole dancing or hula chairs. A Gymstick is cost efficient and a great tool for achieving many goals. I can use one very effectively with deconditioned or rehabilitation clients as well as with athletic clients.
Gymsticks are available in two models – the original Gymstick and the telescopic Gymstick. The original is the best option for fitness centres/studios or at home. The telescopic Gymstick is the ideal choice for ultimate portability and travelling as it folds down to just 72 cm and fits into a large suitcase or sports bag.
Gymsticks™ come in different colors. The resistance offered by the band is shown by the color. Green offers the least resistance, which makes it suitable for the elderly or people needing rehabilitation. Gold offers the most resistance and is primarily intended for athletes. The resistance of a Gymstick™ can be further increased by rolling the band around the pole.
