Hellsing Dvds Views
After transcoding many downloaded avis/mkvs to DVDs for viewing purposes, I realized I 'd be better off if I simply downloaded complete DVD ISOs. I have the Internet connection to support it, after all. So herep's my contribution to the realm of complete anime DVD series on BitTorrent: A complete rip of the retail Hellsing DVDs as released in the US. Enjoy. Volumes 1 through 3 were ripped directly using K3b and are entirely intact. Volume 4, since it contained 4 episodes instead of 3, was too big to fit on a DVD4, so I removed the trailers and compressed the rest slightly. All audio and subtitle tracks on all discs are intact.
Hellsing Geneon Signature Series A complete Re-release of all of the above Single DVDs and the complete boxed set at a budget price with the new t"Geneon Signature Seriesr" branding via a red strip on the top of the DVD box. Besides the budget price and the re-branded logo, these DVDs are exactly the same as all of the above ones with no change whatsoever. [Contains Episodes 1-13] [Dual Audio w/ Subtitles] [DISCONTINUED]
As with the Devil May Cry anime the biggest problem with Hellsing is that there are not many episodes, which is a shame because Alucard and the Hellsing Organisation are definitely worthy of additional episodes. Getting hold of copies of the Hellsing DVDs is also quite tricky because they have been discontinued and are only available to buy from a select few places. Some volumes can be found on amazon.co.uk or play.co.uk whilst others are harder to track down and come with a bigger price tag. Thankfully the episodes are on youtube.com and so anime fans with shallow pockets can track them down and watch them online.
