As a Word user for a long time, the 2007 version looks much different. This book has really helped me track the changes. I also help some new users Word and they thought it very easy to follow. She liked the CD with the practice data for the work sessions. 5“Microsoft Office Word 2007 Plain c& Simple.” is another book that is perfect for raw beginners, this would be a good follow-up. It is much more complete and goes in charts, tables of contents, index, merge, testing, e-mail and the Web. Are you at a later date XML. Well worth the $ 16 50! Rating: 5.4
This title is part of a series of “Step by Step ” by Microsoft Press books for the various Microsoft Office System 2007 applications published (I have both this book and Excel). The books are good, but there are a surprising number of errors in the printed content. For example, on page 12 of the book Word table listing the key combinations for moving the cursor shows the key combination Ctrl + End to have moved the cursor at the beginning of the document (the Excel book tons of errors).
