Ruger Mini 14 Tactical Stock Views
IT’ve had several people recently inquire about the availability of aftermarket stocks for the Ruger Mini-14. Specifically, they were interested in tactical style stocks for the Mini-14. There are two Mini-14 stocks I suggest people consider if they are looking for something more tactical for their Ruger: the TAPCO and the ATI stocks.

Pros: Solid and good quality for the price. The top rail makes putting a red dot scope on your Ruger much easier and realistic. When butt stock was extended it felt very sturdy. Cons: My buddy has the Tapco stock on his Mini, which to me seems to be much better, and solid than this one. Plus if your buying this to make it more tactical , don't bother spending the bucks. Go with the Tapco or a standard synthetic stock.
I recently purchased this stock to convert my Mini-14. I chose this brand over others because this is what Ruger is currently using for their Mini-14 tactical series. I am happy with the quality. It fit very well and is ergonomically superior to the standard stock. It handles well, and is very solid. Only one thing wrong: When it arrived, most of the hardware was missing. The little ziploc type bag that was stapled into the carton had ripped, and almost all of the little nuts and bolts that are used to mount picatinny rails, sling swivels, and the upper handguard were missing. Called CTD and ATI immediately. Everyone was very nice, and ATI promised to ship me a new bag of parts that same day. It has not arrived yet (it's only been 5 days), but I'll wait o see how their customer service performs.
