I'm trying to switch a few of my Bath and Body Works Wallflowers, which I'e used for years, over to Yankee Candle's Housewarmers, just for a change (I love candles, but they just don't permeate the air like the plug-ins). Well, I was in a small store and they only had four that appealed to me at all because I liked their matching candles: French Vanilla, Home Sweet Home, Cucumber & Cantaloupe, and Mandarin Cranberry, which is probably a holiday scent. I'm glad I didn't buy refills of any of them, because I only got two out of the four right, & HOME SWEET HOME wasn't one of them! Yuck! I like cinnamon, spice, everything this was supposed to be. Instead, it smelled like stale potpourri in an old, musty gift shop. It wasn't more than a few hours before I tracked down the source of that stink ; so, into the garbage went Home Sweet Home, and my reliable Bath & Body Works wallflower in spice went right back in the wall socket.
