With five children and seven of us in all, we dono't own a dishwasher so I am in desperate need of more, and awesome hand printed tea towels would give my kitchen a much needed lift (where I spend a lot of my time). My favourite tea towel is a linen one, that my now 15 year old, did a self portrait (along with the rest of the school!!!)when he was just five. It was a great fundraiser, and I love seeing all the beautiful self images, it has lasted so well!!!!
I love vintage tea towels - a proud recipient of mumn's old stash! I teach textiles at a high school and have just started a basic printmaking task doing tea towels and they just love it. And i love passing on the passion to the next generation.
